Are you ready to join a successful independent financial planning firm, based on the Somerset/Dorset border?
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an IFA Financial Planning Administrator to join our friendly and supportive team.
The interesting and varied role can be offered on a full or part time basis, with further support and training provided should you wish to further your career progression.
The Role
- Liaising with providers to obtain research on pensions, investments and protection products
- Speaking to clients and assisting with queries
- Using Intelligent Office to upload client details and completing fact finds
- Assisting the Director with the discharge of compliance and regulatory duties
- Drafting letters and reports
- Overseeing the efficient processing of new business
- Preparing annual review reports and fee disclosures
Skills
- Excellent communication skills with a confident telephone manner
- High levels of numeracy
- Excellent IT skills, confident with excel
- Punctual, organised and efficient
- Attention to detail and a keen, enquiring mind
- Be able to work independently
- Empathy and discretion are essential when dealing with clients
Experience
- Ideally experience within a financial services environment, although consideration will be given for experience in related fields such as accountancy, legal, trust administration
